When the eclipse occurs the so called moon even though its not in the sky before or after the eclipse travels north/south as it apparently blocks the sun.Įvery other day of the year it travels east/west. It is safe during eclipses because of the greatly reduced radiation that is incoming, but it is harmful for your eyes to look at the non-eclipsed sun.Įast coast of OZ last couple of years has had some good eclipses.Įvery eclipse we have had I look directly at it with no glasses/eye protection and my eyes are better than ever.
